Method

• To start, grab a shaker, you’re going to add your ingredients first, before adding the ice to prevent any dilution
• Next, add 1 part Reifel Rye, half part simple syrup, 1 part orange juice, and lastly, add half part of lemon juice
• Add some ice and shake for about 15 seconds
• Fine strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with fresh ice
• And here’s the twist, layer one part of red wine (preferably, a merlot)
• Finish it off by squeezing a piece of orange peel over top of the glass and discard the peel
