Ingredients

  • 2 parts Alberta Premium Whisky
  • 1 part Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 Dashes of Angostura® Bitters Maraschino cherry

Equipment

  • Mixing glass (or shaker tin)
  • Stirring spoon
  • Hawthorne Strainer
  • Fine strainer
  • Coupe glass

Method

  • To start, grab a mixing glass
  • Next, add 2 parts Alberta Premium Whisky. This whisky has a subtle spice to it, making it, perfect for a classic cocktail like this
  • To balance the whisky, add 1 part Sweet Vermouth and a couple of dashes of aromatic bitters
  • Add some ice and give it a stir for about 30 seconds till chilled
  • Fine strain into a chilled martini glass and top with a cherry
